Its a shame about the philosophy. Its a shame about the architechts speech the lasted longer than the roman empire. But the film kicked *** .

The thingh abot the matrix is- its just an exuse for people in long coats and sunglasses to fly about, run up walls, and kick the cr*p out of people who can turn invisible. Ignore everything else, and youll enjoy it.

Methinks it could have done with a few more one liners.

Yes I agree. People seem to think about the Matrix as a philosophical enlightment instead of a movie. The W bros just figured out this amazing concept where amazing action scenes were actually possible. It's an action movie. That, and the W bros are fans of philosophical thingeys, but you shouldnt really care much about that.
